Candle Care Accessories
A wick dipper is used to prevent spatter and smoke that may be created from attempting to blow out a candle, or burning and dirtying your fingers when attempting to squash out a flame. This handy little instrument is used to tilt the cotton wick down into the melted wax to immediately put out the flame, which prevents smoke, and it re-waxes the wick, which allows for better and faster lighting next time.
A candle wick snuffer is a great way to “snuff” out a cotton or wood wick when you are ready to put out your candle. Using a wick snuffer prevents the spattering of wax which could happen when blowing out a candle, and cuts down on a smoking wick.
If you are a true candle connoisseur, then there is no way that you will get caught without this handy little accessory. It doesn’t matter how deep the candle vessel is, nor how small the opening, this handy wick trimmer will keep your wicks trimmed easily. Caring for your candle is most important, and trimming the wick of your candle each time before you relight it prevents unsightly debris, smoking and soot.
